As the only officially right-of-center organization on campus, the UCLA Bruin Republicans pride themselves in offering conservative students an outlet for their opinions and a niche for their values. Like many College Republican organizations, we attempt to stimulate the campus dynamic with thoughtful debate and the creation of a marketplace of ideas. Despite being on one of the most liberal campuses nationwide--where Democrats outnumber Republicans 15:1 on the faculty--our ranks continue to enjoy healthy numbers well above 800.

The Bruin Republicans are the most diverse group on campus both culturally and ideologically. We do not toe a strict party line, and encourage independent thought and inner discussion among our members. Outside of campus politics the BRs retain an active network--whether it be in religion, athletics, academics, or career pursuits--and new members are encouraged to use the BRs as a vehicle for their personal enrichment.

Prospective members and interested parties are encouraged to review our online brochure, review our 2004-05 prospectus, and to browse our archived Daily Bruin archives for further information.
